Parent Ed Districtwide Series: Race-Work with Dr. Lori Watson
Wednesday, April 29 - Part One
6-8pm
Park School Auditorium
Please RSVP here
Hosted by PTA DEI

PTA Council DEI invites you to join us Wednesday, April 29 from 6-8pm and Friday May 15, 9-11am, for Race-Work with Dr. Lori Watson, a two-part interactive series introducing foundational concepts of her signature work. This introductory yet interactive discussion invites participants to recognize the complexities of race and racism through fostering self-reflection and critical dialogue. By engaging thoughtfully, we will explore how race shapes our lives, the lives of others, and the larger society, and reflect on how we can all contribute to meaningful change. This is a districtwide event for parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders in our school community. The April 29th event will be held in the Park School Auditorium; the April 15th event location is TBD. Please RSVP here.

Spring Party Book

Party Book or Parent Parties are gatherings hosted by Edna families and attended by the Edna community. They allow us to build community, while raising money for the PTA.  See the list of new parties below or go directly to Edna Party Book to purchase tickets.

We understand that finances should never stand in the way of building a diverse, equitable and inclusive community at Edna Maguire. Financial assistance is readily available because we truly value the participation of every parent/guardian at our community events. Please reach out to our Edna Principal, Daniel McCord at dmccord@mvschools.org or your DEI representative at DEI@ednamaguire.org to obtain support.
